GSE Pooling & e-GSE Fleets
Sharing GSE fleets to create smarter operations
Apron congestion and fragmented fleets make ground operations inefficient and costly. Standardising e-GSE is crucial, but ownership models often stand in the way.
TCR’s pooling setups let multiple operators share one central, well-managed fleet, cutting idle time, congestion, costs, and emissions, while ensuring equipment is always available when needed. With over 20 years of dedicated experience in GSE pooling, TCR empowers stakeholders to achieve outstanding On Time Performance, enhanced safety, and exceptional operational KPIs, driving progress and inspiring excellence across the industry.
Combined with IaaS or CaaS, energy supply is never a bottleneck.
With 90% of the world’s pooling projects, including JFK Terminal One, operated by TCR, we are the trusted partner for efficient, transparent, and sustainable apron operations.

IaaS & CaaS
Effortless charging for electric GSE
While e-GSE is key to sustainable ground handling, charging infrastructure often lags behind. Consequently, fixed systems require substantial investment, and their installation can lead to significant disruption.
The solution?
IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) – where mobile batteries, managed by smart planning software, enable the e-GSE to be charged, while taking flight schedules into account. All this with a guaranteed availability of the equipment.
CaaS (Charging-as-a-Service) is a turnkey solution that guarantees e-GSE is charged at all times and ready for use. It also reduces the burden on handlers and airports.

APU Zero
Cut fuel. Cut emissions.
Auxiliary Power Units (APUs — small jet engines used to power aircraft systems while on the ground) can generate up to 60% of ground emissions. Their use during turnaround drives up fuel costs, noise, and CO₂ output, putting pressure on airports and airlines to meet tighter sustainability goals.
TCR replaces APUs with efficient ground-based systems — GPUs, ACUs, and ASUs — delivering the same performance with far less environmental impact. The results speak for themselves: quieter ramps, lower fuel bills, and significant CO₂ savings, whilst also improving the end cabin experience for passengers.
At Milan Malpensa, our APU Zero solution helped easyJet save 1,150 tonnes of fuel and 3,600 tonnes of CO₂ per year.
