October 2010, TCR International NV Enhances U.S. Expansion
(Brussels, Belgium) TCR International is pleased to announce its plans to enhance its expansion to the United States through the addition of key executives to foster and lead its U.S. expansion.
TCR International is Europe's leading provider of turnkey solutions for aviation Ground Service Equipment (GSE), and offers expertise in GSE rental and operational leasing, maintenance and fleet management. TCR's rental offering enables GSE operators to improve the efficiency of their ramp handling services, and is the only leading GSE company offering a unique and comprehensive range of GSE services that supports customers in a vital aspect of their ground handling processes: the use and operation of their GSE.
TCR is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium and operates at 50 airports in seven countries throughout Europe. In 2009, TCR announced its strategic plan to take its product offerings to the U.S. and in December 2009 established its first operation at Houston’s intercontinental airport. “The start of operations in the U.S. has gone very well and confirmed our hypothesis that there is substantial demand for the TCR line of products in the U.S. and that these products can be effectively marketed and provided at U.S. airports” said Marc Delvaux, TCR’s Chief Executive Office.
TCR has now enhanced its U.S. efforts by adding two key executives: Mr. Richard M. Janisse and Mr. Nicolas Dymock. Mr. Janisse is a seasoned veteran in the airport and aviation industry in the U.S. and previously was President and CEO of AMR Services Corp., a diversified ground handling company owned by AMR Corporation - parent of American Airlines, where he grew the ground services company from 15 airport operations to 64 over a four year period and diversified the company’s business through acquisition 10 Fixed Base Operations. Mr. Janisse will be serving as TCR International USA, Inc.’s Vice President of Finance & Administration. “Mr. Janisse will be a tremendous addition to our U.S. expansion and establishing TCR operations at U.S. airports” adds Marc Delvaux.
In addition, TCR will be relocating Mr. Nicolas Dymock, the company’s leading business development manager in Europe, to the U.S. “Mr. Dymock, who has assumed the position of Vice President of Operations for TCR International USA, Inc. has been instrumental in expanding TCR operations throughout Europe and will be focusing his attention on TCR’s U.S. operation and marketing TCR products to ground handling customers at U.S. airports,” reports Marc Delvaux. “Together, Rick and Nick will be establishing a headquarters in the U.S. in the near future and will be responsible for TCR’s U.S. expansion reporting into TCR’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Donald Meulebroek.” “This is a great team to lead our efforts in the U.S. where we believe the market is much bigger than in Europe. These gentlemen clearly have the experience and ability to capitalize on this opportunity,” added Mr. Meulebroek.
TCR’s customer base consists of Europe’s largest handling companies, airlines, integrators and cargo handlers. TCR now manages over 10,000 pieces of GSE and is staffed with over 400 dedicated professionals. TCR’s mission is to be the leading provider of innovative turnkey solutions for Ground Support Equipment Services, and use its in-sourcing expertise and IT systems to add significant value for our customers while creating sustainable value through its people and their enterprising spirit. TCR believes that the success of any ground handling business is largely determined by how efficient the business manages the complex process of operating its ground support equipment. Optimal usage of GSE delivers maximum business returns.
